Do you suffer from nail fungus?
If you’ve been hiding your yellowed nails from the world for too long, it’s time to do something about it. In just three to four weekly laser sessions, you can say goodbye to nail fungal (onychomychosis) infection for good.
What causes nail fungus infections?
Nail fungal infections are caused by microscopic organisms called fungi that do not require sunlight to survive. Nail fungus usually has no symptoms, and can be difficult to see if you’re wearing nail polish. In some cases, nail fungus can cause discomfort by pain and can limit mobility. A diseased nail has a yellow brown appearance and will eventually crumble and disintegrate the nail plate.
What can I do?
Although there are medications you can apply to the nail, they can take up 12 months of daily to weekly drug applications to work. Luckily, laser treatment using a specifically designed Q switch 1064nm, is a quick, in-office treatment which is 88% effective. This alternative to harmful prescription medication is virtually painless and has no downtime. You can wear your shoes straight after the treatment.
How is the treatment performed?
The treatment begins with you removing your socks and shoes. Then your nails are cleaned down with an alcohol wipe.
The handpiece of the FOX 1064 nm short pulse Nd Yag laser system is placed directly onto the skin or nail, and a few pulses of the laser light are emitted to each nail area. A laser skin thermometer is used throughout the treatment to determine the skin temperature to optimize the laser treatment.
During the procedure, the FOX laser light passes through the nail and the surrounding tissue and is absorbed by pigment in the fungi, causing the pigment to heat and result in killing and damaging the fungal organism and resulting in a return to normal and healthy nail growth. We are also eqipped with Fotona Dynamis Q-switch YAG laser system that is also specialised to treat Toe nail fungal in just a few easy sessions.
The nail and surrounding skin don't get hurt. The absorption of laser radiation entails a warming of the cell structures. The cell walls get damaged and the cells die and further growth is therefore stopped.
A course of 3 treatments are performed every 6-8 weeks. You can then return to normal activities immediately following the treatment.

Before and 8 months after 3rd session with 6-8 weeks interval in between session!
In most cases , both hands or feet are affected and infected with the fungal disease , therefore both hands or feet MUST be treated at each session. Before your treatment please make sure you have clipped all nails as close as possible and filed with a disposable nail file or a file that can be disinfected with Alcohol. Please also disinfect all your socks in fabric disinfectant solution that can be purchased at major supermarkets such as Dettol or Canestan as once your toes or fingers are treated they should not be in contact with the same fungal-affected socks to avoid re-infecting those fingers or toes.
Cost: $250 per session for both hands or both feet.
